Flexible Lifting Tool for Handling Drums and Rolls
The electric clamp (EC) is ideal for handling rolls or drums, as interchangeable grippers allow for quick and easy adaptation of the EC to other loads in the same workspace - simply by pulling out two pins.
The flexible lifting tool can easily be mounted on the lifter or combined with a manipulator unit like ERU. Quick change between grippers ensures efficient handling of various objects with different surfaces.
If the EC is combined with an electric manipulator unit such as ERU, loads can be gripped and rotated. This allows for emptying containers (typically drums) or repositioning loads like rolls that need to be placed on a mandrel.
The maximum force the actuator can deliver is 4500 N. The force at the grippers varies depending on the length of the gripping arms and which holes are used to attach the actuator. When the load is securely clamped, a diode on the control box turns green.
