The Manual Linear Clamp with Manual Tipping Unit (MLC-MTU) is designed for controlled lifting, gripping, and manual forward tipping of loads such as drums, barrels, rolls, and other - often cylindrical - loads.

By combining linear clamping with a manually operated tipping function, the solution provides tactile and direct operator control during handling and tipping of the load. This makes the system particularly suitable for applications where precise positioning and gradual tipping are important.

System Configuration - Two Integrated Units

The MLC-MTU consists of two components operating in tandem:

• Manual Linear Clamp (MLC)
  
• Manual Tipping Unit (MTU)
  

Manual Linear Clamp (MLC)

The Manual Linear Clamp (MLC) is designed for manual clamping of loads using various lifting arms and grippers depending on the load type.

The MLC can be combined with tipping or rotation units depending on the application and handling requirements. It is commonly used for handling drums, barrels, rolls, and similar loads.

The MLC consists of a self-locking worm gear system that drives the carriages via manual operation of the handwheel. The mechanical design enables controlled clamping and maintains grip during lifting and handling operations.

Manual Tipping Unit (MTU)

The Manual Tipping Unit (MTU) is designed for controlled manual forward tipping and rotation of loads held by an attached lifting tool. It is typically used in combination with a Manual Linear Clamp (MLC) or an Electric Linear Clamp (ELC) for handling drums, barrels, rolls, and similar loads.

On the outside, the MTU features a housing with a wheel and handle. Inside the housing, a self-locking worm gear system is integrated. The gear is driven by manual operation of the handle and enables controlled forward tipping of the load.

The self-locking function maintains load position when rotation is stopped, ensuring stable handling throughout the operation. Rotation is performed around the main axle of the unit.
